Setting textcolor when inserting new row to TreeGrid

I have a treeGrid which is aliased to "tg". I insert rows using this method:
tg.insertRows(); where "Title" is the string for the first column in the row and "text" is the string for the second column. This works.

I'd like to include style information to specify the whole row's text color at insert-time. I can't figure out how to write a single tg.insertRows line to do this.

I have an app that I have to deploy as either a web version (runs in browser) or as a desktop exe. In the desktop version, the app still has to work in conjunction with a user-defined server, so I added an input box where the user can enter the url of the server. The server destination can be changed at any time by typing a new url in the box. I'm doing this using ...

I need to read a server file that has CSV records and put those entries into a grid for viewing. What are the recommended methods to read file data from the server and which GUI widget is best to display it? Is there an example somewhere?

Web app or Desktop app

I want to make my app deployable as either a desktop exe app or a web browser app and behave appropriately according to which kind of deployment it is. For instance, if running as a desktop app, I would pop up a url input box where the user would enter the address of the server the app needs to connect to. In the web installation, this is implicit in the browser and no other address ...
